Matthew Taylor is a photographer who lives in North Lincolnshire and he mainly focuses his passion on wildlife photography at a nature reserve called Far Ings in Barton upon Humber on the shores of the river Humber.

The photos of some of the fantastic wildlife at Far Ings are on display in his gallery.

Matthew uses an nine year old Nikon D1x and a six year old Nikon D2x with a Sigma 170-500mm lens for the wildlife photography, a Sigma 18-50mm for landscapes, a Tamron 70-300mm for portraits and a Sigma 180mm f3.5 macro lens for close ups. Also, a Nikon Speedlight SB-600 is employed in low light situations and for added affect in some portraits. Also, when Matthew is taking macro "shots" he uses the Sigma 18-50mm for very close work and the Tamron 70-300mm for further distance.

Recently, a couple of foxes have been enchanting Matthew at hs local nature reserve. They are such beautiful creatures with a bad reputation since the attacks that have been reported. Such a shame.

Matthew has now become interested in exploring the macro world as well as the bird world. To help him out, a Sigma 180mm f3.5 macro lens with an optional 1.4x teleconverter that Matthew uses to get closer to either shy insects or to get closer to the detail, have been employed. A couple of photos have been uploaded into the wildlife gallery for your viewing.
